Film at Eleven is seeking Research and Social Media Interns to help with the launch of Action After Fade and our upcoming campaign to raise awareness about global rape culture.
Applicants must have good writing, research, and social media skills. Experience in nonprofits, fundraising, grant writing and campaign development preferred but not required. What is required is an interest in human rights and the desire to create real change in the discussion of global rape culture. This is not a film production position but an interest in documentary filmmaking is a plus. Fluency in a foreign language, especially French, is a big plus.
- Research fundraising opportunities (grants, foundations and crowdfunding)
- Outreach in target cities (media, nonprofits, NGO’s, public figures and University groups etc)
- Compile content for interactive multi-media pieces, white papers and more.
- Help maintain social media accounts across multiple platforms
This is a part time unpaid position based out of our office in Brooklyn, NY. Interns may also work remotely with a regular weekly check in with the Production Coordinator.
